SREE’S SOCIAL MEDIA WEEKEND 2020!
NYC’S PREMIER SOCIAL MEDIA CONFERENCE
We’re excited. And you should be too.
What is @Sree’s Social Media Weekend (#smwknd)?
Social Media Weekend is packed with workshops, panels, plenary sessions and lots of extras that will keep you on top of everything you need to know about social media.
Who should attend #smwknd?
Everyone! Whether you’re a journalist, a social media manager for a brand, a marketer, a public relations specialist, someone looking to hone important skills or thinking about searching for a new job, or just someone who loves social media, #smwknd is the place for you.
How long has #smwknd been around?
Social Media Weekend (#smwknd) is the brain child of @Sree Sreenivasan, who created the two-day conference in 2011 while he was a dean at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. He felt people were hungry for MORE. In 2015, when Sree was Chief Digital Officer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, #smwknd moved to the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism for 2015, 2016 and 2018. This year the conference is going to be an online event given the coronavirus situation.
