In addition to the full day conference on Saturday, March 21 , we have two events on Friday, March 20 that are included in the ticket price.
1) Opening-night Reception: from 6 pm to 9 pm at Muck Rack (96 Spring Street, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10012). Watch this space for more details.
2) #SMWKND Phone Camera Walkabout: Learn to optimize your phone camera’s visual capabilities while visiting two great New York City museums!
Digital strategists Andrew Lih and Steffen Kaplan will lead a “walking workshop” during the afternoon of Friday, March 20, 2020. The group (free to people who sign up for the event; see details below) will visit two of New York City’s notable museums. Participants will have a short gallery tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and another museum (to be announced). Andrew and Steffen will demonstrate important phone camera techniques and must-have apps. In addition museum professionals at the participating institutions will give more quick tips for creating visual content for your social media.
The walkabout is free — but the number of participants is limited. Watch this page for information about how to sign up
